This weekend I have been to quite a magical place in my neighbourhood: More or less coincidentally I came across this special shop around the corner named Sentimental Journey - and my week with Marilyn seems to be continued.

Berlin has many places to find vintage stuff at, for sure, but for me this one is exceptional still: kind of taking Elvis Presley's wonderful song literally and transfering it to any matter of heart (vintage clothing in this case it is) each and every thing sold and exhibited here seems to be loved tenderly.
(btw: on the chart it says "Elvis - the scent for men that enchants women alike")
The section for men is wallpapered with sheets of music by Elvis which the shop's owner, Frauke, designed herself (apart from running the shop and the four other professions she has, she is also a poster designer!).
And on top the fine selection of clothing is still affordable.
Each room in this wonderful place is designed differently and with much love for the detail it seems.
