Three Kings Day
the 6th of January is usually the day, when all the Christmas decoration is taken down
(though in Russia, Christmas only starts tomorrow)

- so I had a long walk today having a last look at all the decorated gardens and windows -
which, as far as my experience goes, is less abundant in German than, for instance, in American backyards (the Potsdamer Platz above might be an exception)

yesterday was one of the rare rain-free, waterproof evenings this summer
that brought about some of the more kitschy urban moments
festival of lights
again and again it is charming what a tasteful winter decoration some neighbours come up with
