As an urban traveller who explores her most-beloved hometown Berlin and various other, mostly European and sometimes non-European, places (preferably moving on foot or rails of any sort) with her camera, I am looking for the little things and urban dreams, unexpected views and visual narratives that usually escape the eye.In 2010 I launched this blog to share some of these stories and treasures that one tends to overlook on cracked and restored house facades and walls, that are hidden within the urban underground and upperground network of alleys, trails, and passageways, and that are veiled behind doors and windows. These little visual urban fairy tales explore both lost and lively urban spaces and places, various forms of urban street art, signs and culture, all sorts of urban travel and transport.
