This Berlin winter holds a grey record:
it has treated us with the least sunshine ever since the records have been started in 1951.
Fortunately the sun and the blue sky returned at the past weekend
and the ice on the lakes in the surrounding areas began to melt
forming some great ornaments such as at the Straussee.
