These days I have been to the Photography Playground at the old 'Opernwerkstätten' building in Berlin Mitte.
The playground is a free exhibit that invites the amateur photographer to experiment with "Space and Art".
You explore twelve rooms each designed by another artist with a broad thematic and sensory range: light and sound draw a synaesthetic panorama that evokes an intense atmosphere and different sensations whereever you go.
Shan Blume: OT_L_Space_01
Jeongmoon Choi: Drawing in Space
Sven Meyer/Kim Pörksen: Sonic Water
Tim John: Was war gestern (What happened yesterday)
Speech Tchoban & Kuznetsov: towninbox
Zimoun: Prepared dc-motors, cork balls, cardboard boxes
The old industrial building has a particular vintage patina and its walls are still covered with numerous old signs.
